M13-063 Wyatt, a handsome declawed Maine Coon X, now three years old, was perfectly matched to his new mom in a feline personality examination. It should have been a perfect match, but nobody knew his new mom soon would develop a terminal illness and need to enter hospice, putting Wyatt and his friend Wuffie into a pound that did not serve cats. A quick call to a Magicat volunteer in the midst of a busy kitten season brought them safe haven but not a lot of personal attention. By the time space opened in a less crowded foster home, both cats were lonely and unhappy, and Wyatt had some psychosomatic health issues. Now six months into life in a home with lots of interaction and love, plus some fantastic vet care, he is physically healthy and beginning to remember his cheerful self. It won't be long until he will be ready to be someone's special Someone. Wyatt is a special guy who has overcome a lot of challenges so we will not place him in the stress of a public adoption center. Offered as an INSIDE ONLY pet, he is current on his shots, negative for FIV/FELV, neutered and declawed. Every day he gains confidence and we will give him as much time as it takes for him to find that great Forever Home.
